How it all started....

On a dark, cold, winter day in 2023 I was searching for something my mom and I could do to banish the winter blues. We didn't want to take up baking since that just adds to waistlines that tend to expand around the holidays as it is. I thought about making tiny creatures from pinecones, acorns and other natural items but glue-guns are dangerous in these hands. I was running out of ideas when I stumbled upon an article about the benefits of handmade natural soap complete with How-To's.

A few short weeks later and armed with protective goggles and thick rubber gloves, we mixed our first batch of real, natural soap. I'll be the first admit that using lye was intimidating but thanks to all the warnings from those who have gone before, we came through it unscathed.

Now, a year and 20 batches later, we have molds of every type and enjoy trying new techniques using spices and clays to create colors and blending essential oils for fragrance.

The whole family is involved now in all facets, from creation to quality control.
